How much does it cost?

This course is provided free of charge to eligible participants through funding from the state of Ohio. Through this partnership, Ohio is investing in personal growth, workforce success, and reduced barriers to employment across the state. We’re honored to work together to support and empower Ohioans like you.

Which course should I select?

Foundations is the perfect starting point if you’re new to personal development and goal setting—it helps you build confidence, establish healthy habits, and lay the groundwork for success. Pathway is designed for those who are ready to take the next step, with a focus on deeper growth, clear direction, and turning your goals into action.

What is the difference between the courses?

Both courses begin with the TOPUCU Starter Program, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of mindset and behavior change. From there, Foundations gives you a strong overview of the Finisher Program and works as a great first step if you’re just getting started. Pathway takes you deeper—spending more time on core concepts, goal setting, and crafting your personal mission statement—so you can put real momentum behind your growth.

Is this part of my regular program?

This course is an approved, value-added resource that fits alongside your existing workforce development services.

Do I need a computer to participate?

No. The course is accessible from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. All you need is internet access and a willingness to grow.

How long does it take to complete?

The program is flexible and self-paced. Most participants complete it within a few weeks, but you can move at the speed that works best for you. The program itself is approximately 10 hours long. 

I am enrolled in a program through OhioMeansJobs (OMJ). Which option should I select when enrolling?

If you participate in any program offered through OhioMeansJobs (OMJ), you should select "Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) or Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) Workforce Development Programs". This option covers all programs and services provided through OMJ, including:
  • ApprenticeOhio (including Veteran Apprenticeships)
  • Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP)
  • Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker programs
  • Job Services for Restored Citizens (reentry programs)
  • RESEA (Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment)

I attend Aspire adult education, a senior employment program (SCSEP), or vocational rehabilitation. Which option should I select?

What if I am unsure which program category I am part of?

If you are not in SNAP, TANF/OWF, or Child Support programs, you likely participate in a program through OhioMeansJobs. Choose "Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) or Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) Workforce Development Programs", or ask your caseworker to confirm.

 What does the "Admin" option mean? Should I select it?

The "Admin" option is for employees of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and County Departments of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) who are accessing the course for administrative or training purposes. If you are not an ODJFS or CDJFS employee, please do not select this option.
